Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. In this role, you will manage core accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, while supporting critical financial processes such as month-end close and financial reporting. Your expertise in debits and credits and attention to detail will be key to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll operations to maintain smooth financial workflows
Perform month-end close tasks, including preparing journal entries and ensuring accuracy in the general ledger
Reconcile accounts and bank statements to verify the accuracy of financial transactions
Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements to support reporting requirements
Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records to ensure compliance with accounting standards
Maintain detailed documentation of accounting processes and transactions
Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency in financial operations
Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules
Monitor financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits
Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management
Ability to prepare accurate journal entries and reconcile accounts
Familiarity with bank reconciliation and financial statement preparation
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational abilities and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
