A well-established, growth-oriented organization in the South Florida market is seeking a technically strong Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, values accuracy, and can operate independently with minimal oversight. This position offers the opportunity to work in a performance-driven yet collaborative culture where strong technical accounting skills are highly valued.

Job Responsibility:

Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
Support consolidated reporting across multiple entities
Analyze variances and provide clear explanations to leadership
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
Partner cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience in a structured, corporate accounting environment preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation
Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment
