Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to manage complex accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical accounting and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication abilities.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare accurate journal entries for various accounting transactions and support month-end closing processes for corporate entities
Manage asset records and ensure all supporting documentation is properly maintained
Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data across multiple entities
Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure consistency and compliance
Assist in the development and preparation of budgets, identifying variances and recommending improvements
Collaborate on process documentation and implement internal controls to enhance efficiency
Provide supporting documentation for tax filings and ensure compliance with regulations
Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial management operations
Contribute to other accounting and financial management tasks as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
Minimum of 3 years of detail-oriented accounting experience with significant responsibilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
Exceptional attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and Word, with advanced knowledge of Excel functions such as filtering data, statistical analysis, and financial calculations being a plus
