We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations and reporting of our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in all accounting processes, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and provide valuable insights to support business decisions. An accountant plays a critical role in preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits and tax filings.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and general ledger entries
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy
Manage the closing process, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Assist in setting budgets, tracking variances, and providing recommendations to meet financial goals
Collaborate with external accountants and tax professionals to prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Provide financial documentation and support during audits or financial reviews
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar applications to streamline accounting processes
Analyze financial issues, resolve discrepancies, and recommend systems improvements as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
or equivalent experience
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Strong interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and resolve discrepancies effectively
High level of accuracy and consistency in managing financial records
Ability to work as a permanent Engagement detail oriented (FTEP)
Flexibility and commitment to rotating assignments/projects, supporting various client needs across multiple industries
Strong focus on delivering continuity of service and quality
Willingness to be re-engaged on future client projects
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and project requirements
Nice to have:
CPA or CMA certification preferred
