We are assisting a fast growing, private equity backed healthcare company with their search for a Senior Accountant. You'll play a key role in the month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations while partnering with operations, FP&A, and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Perform complex reconciliations across billing systems, claims platforms, payor data, and the general ledger
Ensure completeness and accuracy of claims data prior to revenue recognition and reporting
Identify and resolve discrepancies between operational and financial data
Enhance reconciliation processes as systems and workflows evolve
Collaborate with billing, claims, and revenue cycle teams to maintain data integrity
Analyze claims activity, including variances, denials, and aging trends
Prepare and review journal entries, including revenue, AR, accruals, and claims-related accounts
Support month-end close and internal reporting requirements
Communicate insights clearly to both finance and non-finance partners

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA a plus
Public Accounting experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to analyze and reconcile large, complex datasets
Advanced Excel skills required
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
