We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Monrovia, California. Job Responsibility:

Oversee the month-end closing processes, ensuring all necessary adjustments and reports are completed accurately
Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring entries align with company policies and accounting standards
Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate financial documentation
Reconcile accounts and perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity
Analyze financial discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and reporting
Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits or compliance reviews
Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company guidelines at all times
Monitor and improve accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger and month-end processes
Strong proficiency in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
Demonstrated expertise in bank reconciliation and financial statement preparation
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
