Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to help oversee critical financial operations and ensure compliance with SaaS-specific accounting standards. Based in Beloit, Wisconsin, this role requires a detail-oriented individual with a CPA license and expertise in revenue recognition, subscription-based billing, and deferred revenue management. Job Responsibility:

Manage revenue recognition processes in alignment with ASC 606 standards
Reconcile accounts and balance sheets to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Prepare, review, and post journal entries for month-end close activities
Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data
Analyze and manage deferred revenue and subscription billing operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and improve processes
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to perform detailed financial analyses
Ensure compliance with SaaS-specific accounting practices and company policies
Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits and external reviews
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a SaaS environment
Proficiency in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
Strong skills in account reconciliation and balance sheet management
Expertise in general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis
CPA certification is required
Experience with subscription billing models and deferred revenue management
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
