Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team on a contract basis in Tualatin, Oregon. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes. If you have a strong background in accounting and are detail-oriented, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare organization.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare preliminary financial statements and ensure their accuracy
Post journal entries to maintain up-to-date records
Monitor daily banking activities and record relevant transactions
Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify and address discrepancies
Record cash transactions and maintain accurate cash flow records
Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
Initiate payroll wires and other necessary financial transfers
Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain proper financial reporting
Collaborate with team members to support month-end closing processes

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries
Expertise in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation
Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
