Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Job Responsibility:

Perform month-end closing activities, including preparing and reviewing financial statements
Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and accuracy
Prepare and post journal entries to reflect financial transactions
Conduct detailed reconciliations of accounts to ensure data integrity
Handle bank reconciliations by verifying balances and identifying discrepancies
Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and resolve issues
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support
Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations

Requirements:

Proven experience in performing month-end close procedures
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries
Proficiency in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes
Ability to analyze financial data and ensure accuracy
Familiarity with accounting software and tools
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
