Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support corporate accounting operations and partner closely with the Corporate Controller. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong GAAP knowledge and 7+ years of experience—preferably within a corporate or manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibility:

Lead general ledger accounting, including journal entries, fixed assets, payroll entries, and intercompany activity
Perform multi-entity balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, SG&A reporting, and ad‑hoc financial analysis
Support monthly close, coordinating AP/AR sub-ledger closings
Prepare audit and tax schedules
assist with internal controls and policy development
Provide financial guidance to operations and cross-functional teams
Act as backup for key accounting functions within the department

Requirements:

7+ years of accounting experience
corporate or manufacturing preferred
NetSuite experience required
BA/BS in Accounting
MS Accounting or CPA preferred
Strong GAAP and accrual accounting knowledge
Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
Experience with: Bank and payroll reconciliations
Fixed asset accounting
401(k) and payroll GL entries
SG&A reporting
Intercompany accounting
