Job Description:

Are you a quick learner who can keep up in a fast-paced environment? Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a local Syracuse employer that has a lot of flexibility and great benefits. You can work from home 1 or 2 days a week once you're up and running.

Job Responsibility:

Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations and reports
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Requirements:
