Industry leader based in Philly suburbs is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to their Accounting Department due to a recent promotion. Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting including general ledger account reconciliations
  • Develops forecasts using multiple assumptions
  • Coordinates quarterly dividend payable with the Treasury Department
  • Reconciles bank statements
  • Prepare journal entries for monthly close
  • Prepares month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and required items for financial close to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to defined standards
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules
  • Assists with accounting-related projects and accounting research on an as-needed basis
  • Records quarterly employee stock purchase plan transactions
  • Maintain clear communication paths with stakeholders
  • Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting
  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
