Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract-to-permanent basis in Easton, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, skilled in managing accounting functions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. If you have a strong command of QuickBooks Enterprise and a proven ability to handle both routine and complex accounting tasks, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions
Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy
Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger
Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation
Manage sales tax reporting and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise to manage financial data and generate reports
Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records
Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline accounting processes
Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation
Proficiency in reconciling accounts, including bank and credit card statements
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is required
Familiarity with sales tax compliance and reporting processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
