Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half is partnering with a growing real estate investment and development firm. They’re hiring a Senior Accountant who wants more than just a close-the-books role, this is a chance to build real technical depth across real estate funds and family office structures, with a clear path toward an Accounting Manager seat.

Job Responsibility:

Support accounting across real estate investments, including acquisitions, sales, and ongoing operations
Assist with fund-level activities such as capital movements and investor reporting
Oversee accounting for family office entities, including cash tracking and investment activity
Contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and liquidity oversight
Analyze property performance and expense trends
Strengthen internal controls and help refine accounting processes and documentation
Jump into special projects—systems, reporting enhancements, and transaction support
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (audit, tax, legal)

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
CPA or pursuing is a plus
2–5+ years of experience in real estate accounting, fund accounting, or public accounting
Solid grasp of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals
Strong Excel skills
Experience with tools like Yardi or QuickBooks is helpful
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proactive, curious, and comfortable taking on new challenges
Effective communicator who works well across teams
