We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will oversee complex accounting tasks and play a key part in financial reporting, consolidations, and variance analysis for international operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with senior leadership while contributing to critical accounting processes.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Oversee financial consolidations and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
Collaborate with international teams to align accounting practices and reporting
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of cash balances
Prepare detailed workpapers to support audit and compliance requirements
Analyze financial data to improve operational efficiency and decision-making
Partner with senior leadership to address complex accounting issues and provide strategic recommendations
Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in month-end close, general ledger management, and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with international accounting practices
Proficiency in preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or similar setting is highly desirable
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams

Nice to have:
