Job Description:

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage a variety of financial operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and organizational skills who can oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and payroll processes.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations, including sales, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including detailed variance and flux analyses
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness
Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain supporting schedules to ensure data integrity
Manage daily cash operations, including cash applications and payment processing for checks and wire transfers
Complete bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and monthly inventory count reconciliations
Support the preparation of year-end financial statements and disclosures
Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate completion
Verify payroll accruals, benefit payments, and ensure timely submission of payroll reports

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Accounting with 3+ years of experience in Accounting
Experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting
Proficiency in managing general ledger accounts and performing account reconciliations
Strong knowledge of journal entries and accruals
Experience in bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions
Solid understanding of tax compliance for federal, state, and local regulations
Familiarity with payroll operations, including payroll reporting and benefit payments
Ability to analyze financial data and generate variance and flux analyses
