Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and has a strong background in financial operations and accounting within manufacturing environments. The position requires expertise in SAP S/4HANA and a commitment to delivering accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and execute month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled
Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Utilize SAP S/4HANA to streamline accounting processes and generate detailed financial reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis
Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies in all financial operations
Provide support for audits and regulatory compliance requirements
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting roles within manufacturing environments
Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is essential
Strong understanding of financial and general ledger accounting principles
Certification in SAP is preferred
Expertise in month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Thorough knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures and resolving discrepancies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and communicate financial insights
