Robert Half Contract Finance and Accounting is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client in Sparks, Nevada. This contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where precision and efficiency are key. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting and general ledger management, with a proven ability to handle month-end close processes and fixed asset accounting.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and execute month-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Oversee all general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
Handle fixed asset accounting tasks, including tracking, depreciation, and reporting
Analyze cost accounting data to identify trends and support business decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations
Prepare and review financial reports to ensure compliance with industry standards
Maintain accurate records and ensure financial data integrity
Implement best practices for accounting processes to improve efficiency
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close procedures and general ledger management
