Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to critical accounting operations, including cash matching and reconciliation. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in financial processes and demonstrate proficiency in tools such as Oracle Fusion.

Job Responsibility:

Perform cash matching and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate financial records
Oversee month-end close activities, including preparing necessary journal entries
Maintain and update the general ledger with precision and efficiency
Conduct thorough account reconciliations to verify accuracy and compliance
Manage bank reconciliations to align financial statements with transactions
Utilize Oracle Fusion and other accounting systems to streamline operations
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies
Provide detailed financial reports and insights to support decision-making
Assist in improving processes for enhanced accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close and reconciliation
Proficiency in managing general ledger and journal entries
Strong background in account and bank reconciliation
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or similar accounting software
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
