We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team remotely. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial processes and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements
Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Perform detailed bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow effectively
Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and financial reporting
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
Maintain compliance with regulatory and company-specific accounting policies
Assist in refining processes to improve efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger accounts
Strong knowledge of journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
Experience with bank reconciliation and cash flow management
Familiarity with regulatory accounting standards and compliance requirements
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
