Senior Accountant

• Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders
• Producing management accounts and providing practical insight to clients
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns, with exposure to personal tax where relevant
• Managing your own portfolio of clients, building long-term professional relationships
• Acting as a day-to-day point of contact, resolving queries and advising clients clearly
• Reviewing work prepared by juniors, offering feedback and technical support
• Supporting workflow planning and ensuring assignments are delivered on time
• Assisting managers and partners on complex accounts or advisory projects as needed

• ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
• Solid experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
• Confident preparing and reviewing accounts for a wide range of clients
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102 and tax fundamentals
• Comfortable managing deadlines and multiple client jobs
• Excellent communication skills and a strong client-service mindset
• Enjoy supporting junior staff and contributing to team development
• Organised, detail-oriented and commercially aware
