Anna Parson at Robert Half is partnering with a growing construction company to identify a Senior Accountant with strong Construction industry experience. This Senior Accountant role is an excellent opportunity to join a sharp, collaborative team at a company that values its people and offers excellent benefits and long-term growth.

Job Responsibility:

Manage project accounting and job costing across multiple construction projects and oversee AR and AP
Prepare and analyze construction financial reporting (WIP, P&L, balance sheet)
Handle certified payroll and ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements
Support union-related accounting, including audits, benefits, and reporting
Assist with monthly close, reconciliations, and audit support
Demonstrate your advanced Excel skills by preparing meaningful analyses and project P&Ls
Partner with project managers and leadership on financial performance and forecasts

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close, journal entries and general ledger management
Proven construction industry accounting experience
Strong knowledge of job costing and project-based accounting
Experience with union environments, audits, and benefits
Hands-on experience with certified payroll
Solid Excel skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and team-focused mindset
