We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will support efficient operations and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and execute month-end closing procedures to ensure accurate reporting
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are accurate and balanced
Create and post journal entries to reflect financial transactions effectively
Perform detailed account reconciliations to verify financial data integrity
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and internal records
Collaborate with teams to analyze financial discrepancies and implement solutions
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries
Monitor compliance with accounting policies and standards
Develop and refine processes to enhance efficiency in financial operations

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close procedures and financial reporting
Strong proficiency in managing general ledger accounts
Demonstrated ability to create and post accurate journal entries
Expertise in performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Experience with bank reconciliation processes
Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
