Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Coral Gables, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and finance, who can manage complex financial tasks and collaborate effectively across departments. The position requires expertise in cost allocation, account analysis, and reconciliation for multiple legal entities.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct detailed account reconciliations and balance sheet analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage monthly flux accounts and perform account analysis to support financial reporting processes
Collaborate with multiple departments to allocate costs accurately and ensure proper reclassification where necessary
Handle intercompany transactions and cost allocations across various legal entities
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger
Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded and balanced
Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze financial data and support reporting needs
Work with systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Power BI to manage financial operations efficiently
Provide insights and recommendations to improve accounting procedures and streamline workflows
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards across all tasks

Requirements:

Proven experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis
Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation
Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills preferred
Prior experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
Understanding of cost allocation and intercompany transactions
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments
