Job Description:

Join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) team as a Senior Accountant and make a direct impact on our clients’ businesses. As a full-time employee of our team, you will be deployed on key projects or interim assignments, supporting a variety of clients and industries, and enjoying continued career development and stability.

Job Responsibility:

Manage complex general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes
Prepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analyses
Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate with client teams to ensure best practices
Support internal controls, process improvements, and audit engagements
Perform technical accounting research and assist in implementing new accounting standards

Requirements:

5+ years of progressive accounting experience
public accounting or multi-industry background is a plus
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency with leading accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or progress toward certification preferred
Willing to work fully onsite in Suffolk and Nassau counties
