Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations within a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards
Maintain the general ledger by ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
Oversee the month-end close process, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of journal entries
Assist in external and internal audit processes by providing necessary documentation and support
Manage account reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly
Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records
Utilize NetSuite software for efficient tracking and management of financial data
Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions to ensure timely processing and reporting
Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance overall financial performance

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including financial reporting and general ledger management
Strong expertise in month-end close procedures and account reconciliation
Proficiency with NetSuite or similar accounting software
Solid understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
