Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, on a contract basis. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting processes, including general ledger management and financial reconciliation. You will play a key role in supporting the Assistant Controller and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Provide direct support to the Assistant Controller and accounting team, ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment
Prepare and maintain daily revenue and expense reports, analyzing factors such as weather impacts on revenue
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform detailed reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial records
Build and update basic reporting templates to streamline financial tracking and analysis
Utilize Sage Intacct software for accounting tasks and reporting, if applicable
Collaborate with team members to address other accounting-related functions as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in general ledger management and month-end close processes
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUP functions
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large-scale financial models
Experience in journal entries and account reconciliations
Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes
Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Nice to have:

Preferred experience with Sage Intacct software
