Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of their finances. Reporting directly to the Senior Controller, this position will not only have significant exposure to the EVP of Finance and the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer but will also have the opportunity to drive positive results across the team.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in the month-end closing process, reconcile assigned accounts, and prepare and post general journal entries
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, revenue, and expense analysis, and year-end audit
Perform financial analysis and assist with the annual budget
Prepare schedules, research issues, and work collaboratively with staff accountants, accounts payable personnel, controllers, and accounting systems staff
Undertake special projects and show the ability and initiative to be a team player
Occasionally assist in training new employees

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting
Masters degree, CPA, or on track to achieve CPA are strongly desired
3+ years of public accounting (audit or accounting advisory) and/or hands on general ledger/month end close experience required
Highly collaborative and communicative
Thrives in a diverse organization
Thirst to learn and implement/apply new skills
Excel skills must include Pivot Table and VLOOKUPs + more
