Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our client's team in the Lansdale Pennsylvania area. In this permanent, onsite role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, detail-oriented individual with construction accounting expertise to contribute to a rapidly growing organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee month-end close processes and generate timely, accurate financial statements in collaboration with leadership
  • Compile and present key performance indicator reports to support strategic decision-making
  • Manage bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting to align with company goals
  • Supervise coordination with bookkeeping staff to ensure seamless handling of payables and receivables
  • Prepare and process journal entries to maintain accurate ledger accounts
  • Provide support to cross-functional teams and perform additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in construction accounting with project cost tracking expertise
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with construction-related accounting practices such as AIA billing and cost-to-cost adjustments
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members

Nice to have

Experience with NetSuite is a plus
