We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting, particularly within the manufacturing industry. You will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency in accounting processes.

Job Responsibility:

Completion of month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
Conduct detailed inventory analysis to optimize stock levels and financial performance
Maintain accurate inventory accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues related to manufacturing operations
Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations and implement solutions
Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations applicable to the manufacturing sector

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry
Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Solid understanding of inventory accounting and analysis
