Job Responsibility:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end/year-end close, and account reconciliations
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports, ensuring compliance with healthcare industry regulations
Coordinate audits, monitor internal controls, and ensure adherence to GAAP and healthcare-specific standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on revenue cycle management, billing, and cost reporting
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost savings within accounting workflows
Support senior leadership with financial planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives tailored to healthcare operations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in healthcare or a related industry
Strong knowledge of healthcare accounting practices, revenue recognition, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency with healthcare ERP/accounting software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail
