Job Description:

Senior Accountant role is ideal for someone who brings hands-on Construction or Project Accounting experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced, project‑driven small company environment. Offers a collaborative culture and tenured team.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in the month end close including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, project reporting, variance analysis and audit/tax supporting workpapers
Prepare job costing, project analysis and backlog tracking on project pipelines
Process full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Prepare sales reporting and calculate related commissions
Assist with insurance documentation, including verifying COIs and keeping compliance materials current
Utilize construction accounting platforms and Excel to streamline processes and prepare meaningful analyses for management

Requirements:

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in Construction, Project Accounting, or a related field
Strong understanding of cost tracking and project‑based financials
Proficient with construction accounting systems and Excel
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
