Job Responsibility:
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with US GAAP
Prepare monthly standard and adjusting journal entries with proper supporting documentation
Analyze P&L budget‑to‑actual results, year‑over‑year variances, and overall financial trends
Provide meaningful financial analysis to management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Address internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters
Support timely and accurate month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes
Manage the full client invoicing and collections workflow, including generating invoices, monitoring payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records
Assist with annual budget preparation and updates
Support annual audit activities by preparing schedules, workpapers, and related documentation
Partner with internal departments, program leaders, and managers to interpret and discuss financial results
Perform ad hoc analysis and participate in special projects as needed
Handle other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required
3+ years of relevant accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
advanced Excel skills required
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines, and manage shifting priorities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
