Robert Half is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client in the Seacoast area. In this Sr. Accountant role, you will be responsible for managing critical accounting functions such as reconciliations and journal entries and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organization's financial stability and growth. This Sr. Accountant is with a great organization and has excellent benefits. This role will have 1 day hybrid working from home.

Job Responsibility:

Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and maintain compliance with accounting standards
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Manage general ledger activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries
Lead month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to streamline accounting processes and reporting
Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and ensure compliance with regulations
Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance accounting operations

Requirements:

Proven experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet management
Strong expertise in bank reconciliations and general ledger activities
Proficiency in preparing journal entries and managing month-end close processes
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Understanding of cash flow analysis and financial statement preparation
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
