Our client, a growing, design-forward Hospitality group, is looking for a Senior Accountant to play a critical role in overseeing the accounting function across all entities. This organization is known for creating standout dining experiences and building strong teams behind the scenes. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for owning the monthly close, ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and serving as a trusted partner to finance leadership.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee core accounting functions including financial reporting, controls, banking, tax coordination, and audit support
Manage the monthly close process for all entities, ensuring timely and accurate P& L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
Prepare, review, and approve journal entries (accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany allocations) with strong audit trails
Oversee accounts payable workflows & accounts receivable processes
Review and maintain monthly reconciliations for all bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
Ensure adherence to internal controls across cash handling, purchasing, and expense approvals
recommend and implement process improvements
Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
4+ years of experience, experience with a background in Restaurant/Hospitality
Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to synthesize information for decision-making
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and pressure
