Senior Accountant job in Harrogate. Working directly with a Partner. General practice accounting role. Statutory accounts preparation. Corporate and personal tax compliance. Client relationship management. Exposure to a varied client portfolio. Excellent career progression within a leading Harrogate accountancy practice.

Job Responsibility:

Preparation of statutory accounts for a wide range of clients
Preparation of corporate tax returns
Preparation of personal tax returns
Managing aspects of a client portfolio
Supporting business owners with accounting and compliance matters
Working closely with a Partner on client assignments
Responding to client queries and providing practical accounting guidance
Assisting with general accounting and practice support work

Requirements:

Experience working within an accountancy practice
Strong experience preparing statutory accounts
Experience or exposure to corporate and personal tax compliance
Strong communication and client relationship skills
A proactive, ambitious and career-focused mindset
ACA qualified
ACCA qualified
Part qualified ACA / ACCA
Studying towards AAT
