Job Description:

Our client, a large and well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking a long term Senior Accountant resource to join its finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong corporate accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and hands-on experience with OneStream, including exposure to system implementation, optimization, or post-go-live support. Only candidates with prior OneStream experience will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Leverage OneStream for accounting, reporting, and workflow efficiencies
Participate in or support OneStream implementation efforts, system enhancements, testing, and process documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ERP-related projects and finance transformation initiatives
Help strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements
Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
Support timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and provide clear explanations to leadership
Assist with consolidations, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
Partner with operations and plant leadership to support accounting activities tied to manufacturing processes

Requirements:

Strong experience with OneStream, including day-to-day use, reporting, or implementation support
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Prior experience in a Senior Accountant or comparable-level accounting role
Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
Strong experience with OneStream, including day-to-day use, reporting, or implementation support
ERP implementation or systems conversion experience is highly preferred
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
Solid understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments

Nice to have:

Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
ERP implementation or systems conversion experience is highly preferred
