Senior Accountant

• Manage and execute key aspects of the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Review and oversee the work of Staff Accountants, including accounts payable, inventory, and transactional accounting activities
• Perform detailed inventory reconciliations by matching warehouse reports with supplier purchase orders and accounting system data
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations while driving improvements in accounting processes
• Analyze and troubleshoot variances in large datasets using advanced Excel skills to support accurate financial records
• Cross-train in various accounting functions to ensure team coverage and operational efficiency
• Assist with the integration of newly acquired entities, aligning financial reporting and processes
• Collaborate with team members to adapt to evolving reporting needs and organizational changes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience
• prior inventory accounting experience is strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working within a lean team structure
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes, general ledger accounting, and journal entries
• Experience in account and bank reconciliations

Familiarity with consumer packaged goods or similar industries is a plus
