Job Description:

The Senior Accountant supports the development of accounting and reporting processes and procedures and utilizes their knowledge of accounting and systems to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of projects.

Job Responsibility:

Perform balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, month end accounting close processing
Provide timely and accurate tracking and allocations
Provide information to suppliers for accurate nominations
Process accruals for fuel, freight, labor, and other miscellaneous expenses
Assure that costs are being recorded and coded to correct project, business line, department, industry
Perform margin analysis by project
Support budgeting and forecasting process
Liaise with Operations teams and project managers

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
minimum of 3 years’ progressive accounting experience
previous experience in natural gas transportation highly preferred
Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience highly preferred

Nice to have:

Natural Gas Transportation experience
