We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with proven GAAP, FAR, CAS knowledge. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the efficiency of financial operations. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Lead month-end and year-end closings, delivering timely and precise financial reporting
Prepare schedules, account reconciliations, and journal entries for areas such as debt issuances, leases, prepaids, goodwill, and other assigned items
Implement and monitor adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Oversee expense reporting processes, including reconciliations, voucher reviews, payment processing, and corrections
Act as a backup for accounts payable functions when necessary
Support external audits, including financial, regulatory, and internal control reviews
Contribute to system upgrades and spearhead process improvement initiatives
Conduct account research and manage ad-hoc accounting and reporting tasks
Collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate accounting practices

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
At least 4 years of accounting experience
managerial experience is advantageous
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and handling large datasets
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and indirect rate structures
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and organizational abilities
