Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join the finance team at a growing holding company within a publicly traded organization. This role will play a key part in the monthly close, financial reporting, and accounting operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate is technically strong, process-minded, and comfortable operating in a public-company environment with evolving complexity. This position offers meaningful exposure to leadership, cross-functional partners, and public company reporting standards, with clear opportunities for growth and development.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for assigned entities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Assist with consolidation activities and intercompany accounting
Support internal and external financial reporting, including public company requirements
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and SOX-related processes
Partner with FP& A, tax, and audit teams to support reporting, analysis, and audits
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
Assist with system enhancements, integrations, and process automation initiatives
Support ad hoc projects related to growth initiatives, acquisitions, or restructuring

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
Public (Audit) accounting Foundation, Big 4 preferred
Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
Strong ability to prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
Experience with bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
Knowledge of US accounting regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial review processes.
Familiarity with financial systems and software, with a focus on automation and integration.
Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
