Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in located in the Greater Philadelphia Region. In this role, as a Senior Accountant you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations, including reconciliations and reporting. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in accounting who excel in fast-paced environments.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the month-end closing process to ensure all financial data is accurately recorded
Manage the general ledger, including reviewing and posting journal entries
Perform detailed account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure proper cash flow tracking
Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and improve processes
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support
Identify and resolve accounting issues to ensure seamless operations
Utilize financial software, such as Dynamics, to streamline accounting processes

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close and reconciliations
Proficiency in managing general ledger and journal entries
Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations
Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports
Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Dynamics, is preferred
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Strong communication and organizational abilities
