Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Accountant to support core accounting functions with a strong focus on grant and program-related financial activity. This role works closely with finance leadership and plays a key part in maintaining accurate reporting, compliance, and timely financial insights.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
  • Support month-end close and financial reporting
  • Track and analyze grant and program financials, including reporting and compliance support
  • Assist with audit preparation, budgets, and financial analysis
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes and documentation
  • Partner with internal teams to support accurate coding and system use
  • Contribute to special projects and system enhancements as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • grant or nonprofit experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and grant compliance requirements
  • Experience working within an accounting system or ERP environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
  • Clear, professional communicator who collaborates effectively across teams
