Job Description

This role is part of Regional Controlling organization and is critical in ensuring compliance with US GAAP, statutory and tax requirements in country in scope. The role requires understanding of accounting matters, quick problem-solving skills and strong collaboration with other finance and non-finance teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the CoE Controller in: US GAAP, statutory and tax accounting and reporting for the entities in scope
  • ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the reporting
  • Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations
  • support strengthening of financial processes and internal controls
  • Participation in balance sheet reviews
  • Support internal and external audit
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other finance and non-finance teams, as well as external providers (including auditors), to ensure execution of end-to-end finance processes and improvement of process efficiency
  • Participate in resolution of accounting and tax issues
  • Participate in local, regional, and global projects, as required
  • Maintain focus on continuous process improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or audit
  • High knowledge of US and local GAAPs and tax matters
  • Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and “can do” mind-set
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Solution oriented person who seeks improvements and does not settle down for the status quo
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
