Our client—an industry leader with a confidential brand—needs a passionate Senior Accountant – GL who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to own banking and GL processes from day one.

Job Responsibility

  • Take charge of coding all financial items, posting journal entries, and owning month-end close
  • Be the master of the bank: daily reconciliations, posting, and rapid vendor payment releases, plus month-end banking reconciliations
  • Partner with the Corporate Accounting Manager, collaborate across teams, and have a direct hand in annual audit prep
  • Transform accounting operations: maintain policies, champion compliance, and recommend cutting-edge process upgrades
  • Lead internal controls—minimize risk and maximize accuracy
  • Jump in where needed: analyze accounts, support training, and develop high-potential staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting required
  • MBA/MACC a plus
  • 3+ years in corporate accounting, including fixed asset management, banking transactions, and credit card policy compliance
  • Intermediate level Excel skills and experience with a mid-tier or larger ERP
  • Top-notch communication, time management, and organizational skills
