Job Description

Not all accounting roles are created equal. Some keep you in a lane. Others give you a front-row seat to how investments are actually built, managed, and grown. This is the latter. We’re partnering with a highly entrepreneurial real estate investment firm focused on transforming underutilized assets into high-performing properties across supply-constrained markets. With a hands-on approach and strong track record, the team operates at the intersection of real estate, private equity, and family office investing. They’re now hiring a Senior Accountant who wants more than just month-end close—someone who’s looking to expand their skillset, gain real exposure, and grow into an Accounting Manager.

Job Responsibility

  • Support real estate and fund accounting across acquisitions, dispositions, and ongoing operations
  • Assist with capital activity, investor reporting, and fund-level accounting
  • Manage family office entities, including cash tracking and financial reporting
  • Analyze property-level performance and expenses
  • Contribute to process improvements, system implementations, and special projects
  • Partner cross-functionally with asset management, operations, and external advisors (audit, tax, legal)

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of accounting experience (real estate, fund accounting, or public accounting preferred)
  • Strong grasp of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • exposure to Yardi or QuickBooks is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and naturally curious
  • Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
