Senior accountant - corporate accounting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Perform detailed account analyses and explain significant variances
• Collaborate in the preparation of notes to financial statements and management's discussion and analysis
• Participate in external and internal audits, including the preparation of required documentation
• Ensure compliance with the group's accounting policies and regulations in force
• Supervise certain month-end operations (provisions, fixed assets, intercompany, etc.)
• Support initiatives to automate accounting processes and internal controls
• Participate in the accounting integration of new entities, acquisitions or special projects
• Mentor junior accountants as required

• CPA designation or in the process is a significant asset
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a large company or firm
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles
• Mastery of Excel (modeling, cross-tabs, advanced formulas) and a recognized ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, rigor and organizational skills
• Experience in financial project management or process improvement is an asset
• Analytical mind and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
