Job Description

We’re in need of a talented Senior Account Manager with awesome digital and print experience to work in our Healthcare team. This role blends client relationship management with hands-on project delivery across digital and print platforms. You’ll be the crucial link between our clients and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You’ll also help shape strategic thinking and inspire creative solutions that align with our clients’ objectives. The Senior Account Manager works with the Project Management and Client Services teams to deliver integrated (digital and print) projects to our Healthcare clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Lead day-to-day management of accounts, ensuring exceptional service and delivery
  • Understand clients’ business, marketing goals, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with Business Directors on strategic planning and high-level conversations
  • Develop a strategic partnership with your client(s)
  • Write day-to-day briefs that align the strategy of the brand, and hold internal briefing meetings
  • Collaborate across departments to develop integrated, feasible concepts
  • Champion Orchard’s “Invent Better” mission through innovative thinking
  • Support new business pitches and identify opportunities within existing accounts
  • Manage multiple digital and print projects (including websites, iPad and iPhone projects, emails, banners, in store merchandise, print collateral.)
  • Meeting with or discussing requests with clients and scoping these requests
  • Work closely with UX and creative teams to develop site maps and wireframes, quotes and print/digital solutions
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the best solution is offered
  • Document the project scope in a detailed project definition
  • Cost projects and manage the ongoing project budget and resources using Workbook
  • Develop and maintain overall project schedules using Workbook
  • Develop and maintain ongoing project documentation to ensure successful delivery i.e. risk log, change log, WIP documentation etc.
  • Book resources and ensure that tasks are scheduled and completed according to schedule using both Workbook and Jira
  • Document copy, creative, HTML, technical and finished art briefs and brief into internal staff and freelancers
  • Manage communication with clients, including initial scoping meetings, client WIP meetings and progress updates
  • Update the Orchard team on progress, provide insights and feedback based on lessons learned
  • Effectively manage your time to ensure that concurrent projects are managed within project timelines and budgets
  • Conduct testing and proofing, working independently or with the QA team
  • Responsible for day-to-day financial management of your clients
  • Oversee all estimates and scopes created on his/her accounts
  • Ensure that clients are efficiently charged for the work the agency has performed
  • Ensure that any overages are addressed and then resolved in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Understands the forecasting process and ensures that the manager is aware of any significant changes in scope or timings of a project in timely manner
  • Timesheets completed accurately and timely

Requirements

  • 4+ years advertising agency experience (preferably in healthcare or similarly regulated industry)
  • Strong digital and print production experience
  • Strong understanding of marketing and commercial strategy
  • Strong oral and written communication and skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
