Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to strengthen client partnerships and expand business opportunities. This role combines strategic account leadership with business development, requiring someone who can understand customer needs, shape commercial solutions, and build trust with stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing complex relationships, supporting new client launches, and ensuring a seamless path from signed agreement to successful service delivery.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and prospective customers, serving as a trusted point of contact throughout the sales cycle
  • Generate revenue growth by identifying opportunities, leading commercial discussions, and securing new agreements with both existing and prospective accounts
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client's operational environment and translate business needs into clear product and service recommendations
  • Coordinate activities across global client engagements to maintain alignment, responsiveness, and consistent service execution
  • Identify high-potential leads, assess viability, and partner with internal teams to shape competitive proposals and deal strategies
  • Use market, financial, and industry insight to present persuasive business cases that highlight the value of proposed solutions
  • Support onboarding efforts for new accounts and help guide clients through launch activities to establish a successful partnership from the outset
  • Foster collaboration across teams to uncover client challenges, surface technology-related opportunities, and contribute to solution development
  • Oversee the handoff of newly won business to delivery teams to promote continuity, clarity, and a positive client experience
  • Take ownership of account growth plans by recognizing opportunities to expand services and deepen engagement within assigned accounts

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management, key account leadership, or business development within a client-facing environment
  • Strong contract negotiation skills with the ability to guide agreements from initial discussions through final execution
  • Demonstrated ability to build presentations and deliver compelling commercial messages to decision-makers
  • Knowledge of procurement-related sales processes and the ability to align solutions with customer business objectives
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical products or within a regulated industry environment is preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical, operational, and executive audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and maintain momentum across complex sales activities
