Job Description

Major Players are partnering with a leading shopper marketing agency who work with global retail brands to transform in-store experiences, to hire a Senior Account Manager on a fixed term contract. This role is a key part of the client servicing team - you will be the day-to-day lead for key brand and retail clients, responsible for managing briefs, overseeing project delivery and building strong, trusted relationships to ensure the smooth running of campaigns. Please note that this is an 11-month maternity cover contract and not a permanent position.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead client communications and manage briefs through to delivery
  • Oversee projects end-to-end, from storyboarding through to final delivery and dispatch
  • Act as the primary point of contact for retail and brand partners
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships and maintain consistently high client satisfaction
  • Stay informed on shopper marketing and wider industry trends to identify opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional teams (creative, strategy, production) to deliver high-quality work
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across operations, media and production
  • Track workflows, manage timelines and ensure clear communication across teams
  • Support team development and demonstrate strong upward management skills
  • Remain hands-on and organised in a high-volume, fast-moving environment

Requirements

  • Shopper marketing (POS, BTL) - previous experience working on retail accounts
  • Must come from an Advertising/shopper agency background
  • Background in advertising, shopper marketing or a related field
  • Strong client-facing experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to judge creative work and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
  • Team-oriented and collaborative
  • Down-to-earth, friendly and easy to work with
  • Comfortable spending time in the office to build strong internal relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt in a growing business
